The spark didn't arrive at a drama school or in front of a casting director. It arrived at age eight — sometimes watching Bollywood and Hollywood films with the family, sometimes alone. In the alone hours, he made up stories. He invented characters, slipped into versions of people who didn't exist yet, gave them histories and voices. He was an outcast for most of his childhood. The imaginary world was often more real than the one around him. He shaped his entire persona around that childhood vision — and every character he has inhabited since traces back to it.
He left Iran at fifteen. What followed were years of exile, displacement, and the kind of friction that either breaks a person or forges them into something harder than they were before. He traveled to India alone to learn English. Then Turkey — where the walls between language, identity, and art began to fall.
At Bahçeşehir University in Istanbul he earned a BA in Cinema & Television, directed and acted in over 40 projects, and wrote and directed a short film that reached the semi-finals of the Los Angeles CineFest 2018. The craft was never separate from the survival. It was the same thing.
In 2019 he moved to Canada and graduated from Vancouver Film School's Acting for Film program. From graduation he was represented by an agent until 2024, when his agent retired. He has been self-representing since — and is actively seeking representation from someone who brings the same passion to their craft that he brings to his. In 2025 alone, he independently booked more work than in all his previous years of agency representation combined.
Physically imposing at 6'3 — his training history spans more than twenty-five years, beginning with gymnastics and karate at age six, progressing through boxing, bodybuilding, and mixed martial arts, and currently mastering calisthenics at an advanced level. The body is not an accessory to the work. It is the first instrument. He brings rare physical authority to every character he inhabits. Four languages. Trained across three continents. He works from the inside out. That's not a technique. It's a way of living.
His ambition is singular: to stand among the greatest actors known to history. Not for the accolade — for the reach. Amir is also the founder of Veast, a century-scale movement for human evolution through fitness, consciousness, and Web3. The acting career is the amplifier. The larger the voice on screen, the further the cosmic signal of the movement travels. Every role is a frequency. Every performance, a carrier wave. The two ambitions are not parallel paths — they are the same trajectory seen from different angles.
↗ IMDb · nm10055789Every script he has directed, he wrote. Every film he wrote, he directed and led. The page was always the first room he built — before the actors arrived, before the camera rolled. His directorial instinct is actor-first: every visual decision is downstream of performance. Trained in cinema theory at Bahçeşehir University across 40+ productions, Amir writes from the actor's perspective and shoots from the character's interior. Writer, director, and lead are not three jobs — they are the same instrument, played in three registers.
A contained moral portrait shot in Istanbul. His first film as the full triple-credit — proof that character and consequence are the only architecture a story needs.
Short Film · IstanbulA psychological portrait of hunger — physical, emotional, existential. The script reached the screen intact, and the screen reached the semi-finals of the Los Angeles CineFest 2018.
LA CineFest 2018 · Semi-FinalistGenre-inflected, tonally precise. Genre only works when the emotional truth underneath it is load-bearing. The writing had to be correct before anything else could be.
