The decision was made at age eight. Not to try acting — to become an actor. There is a difference that most people don't notice until it's too late. He noticed it at eight, in the alone hours between school and his parents' return, when international films played on a screen and he played them back inside himself. Characters with histories he hadn't been given. Voices he hadn't earned yet. He gave them both. That was the beginning.
He left Iran at fifteen. Alone. India first — Pune — where the only project was learning English in a country where nobody knew him and nothing was expected. That kind of beginning marks a person at the cellular level. He arrived with almost nothing. He left with the first instrument: a language. Then Turkey. Then Istanbul for ten years — the European shore — where the craft deepened into something structural. At Bahçeşehir University he earned a BA in Cinema & Television, directed and acted in over 40 productions, and wrote and directed a short film that reached the semi-finals of the Los Angeles CineFest 2018. The work was not extracurricular. It was survival methodology.
In 2019 he moved to Vancouver. Completed Vancouver Film School's Acting for Film program. He was represented by an agent until 2024, when the agent retired. Self-representing since, he booked more work in 2025 than across all his previous years of agency representation combined. The industry was already saying yes. He was seeing a fraction of the doors.
The body is the first instrument. He has trained continuously for 25+ years — gymnastics and karate at six, then boxing, bodybuilding, mixed martial arts, and now mastering advanced calisthenics. Not as a supplement to the acting. As the same practice. Physical authority in front of a camera is not staging — it is presence that cannot be manufactured. He stands 6'3" and works from the inside out. That is not a technique. It is a way of living.
In 2020, something completed. He stopped eating animals. Not as an ethical experiment — as the moment when every thread he had been carrying for a decade collapsed into a single coherent signal. The philosophy became a body. The body became a transmission. He is the Vegan Beast not because he built a movement around it. He built the movement because that is what he already was. Veast — the platform he founded for human evolution through fitness, consciousness, and Web3 — is not a parallel career. It is the same frequency expressed at scale.
Four languages. Farsi and Azerbaijani native. Turkish fluent. English fluent. Each carries a different world, a different register of silence and urgency. Range is not something he performs — it is the architecture of his formation.
He writes and directs as well as acts. Three directed short films. Work spanning three continents, 30+ personally created projects end-to-end. He understands what the camera needs because he has stood on both sides of it.
His ambition is singular: to stand among the greatest actors known to history. Not for the accolade — for the reach. Every role is a frequency. Every performance, a carrier wave. The larger the voice on screen, the further the signal travels. He is building toward it. The path has never been the point.
↗ IMDb · nm10055789Every script he has directed, he wrote. Every film he wrote, he directed and led. The page was always the first room he built — before the actors arrived, before the camera rolled. His directorial instinct is actor-first: every visual decision is downstream of performance. Trained in cinema theory at Bahçeşehir University across 40+ productions, Amir writes from the actor's perspective and shoots from the character's interior. Writer, director, and lead are not three jobs — they are the same instrument, played in three registers.
A contained moral portrait shot in Istanbul. His first film as the full triple-credit — proof that character and consequence are the only architecture a story needs.
Short Film · IstanbulA psychological portrait of hunger — physical, emotional, existential. The script reached the screen intact, and the screen reached the semi-finals of the Los Angeles CineFest 2018.
LA CineFest 2018 · Semi-FinalistGenre-inflected, tonally precise. Genre only works when the emotional truth underneath it is load-bearing. The writing had to be correct before anything else could be.
